Ephesians 5:22-33; the call for mutual love, honor, and commitment (I believe here is where we do not want to be part of in our marriage, yet God has called us to do so. 1 Peter 3:7, Hebrews 13:4) and guidance on roles, faithfulness, and handling challenges like divorce. 1 Corinthians 7: Key passage emphasizes husbands loving as Christ loved the church, wives submitting as unto the Lord, (I believe that most women see this as being ruled over and not being God's command and our duty), and both partners showing selfless love, forgiveness, and perseverance.
