I believe that most of our marriages do not last because we believe that it is not part of God's plan. Have you ever noticed that when you and your wife are together, people are watching you closely? It's because you said God put us together. And at times, you look like the devil by the way of your actions, and they do not see the God in that marriage. Remember, do not lose faith; ask Jesus to heal your ways, and believe He will. Let us stop letting this worldview be our standard for showing our God in us.
I am learning through my marriage that when I listen to the worldview, something would go wrong, and I would not take the responsibility of going to Jesus for healing. And it wouldn't get right until I did so, my brother. We can't fix everything. We need God, His word, and His people for help. (those who are spiritually strong and love the Lord and His people) Galatians 6:1-4. Amen
Also, the greatest union has to have a relational component, like what we have with our God; without that relational part, it's just friends with benefits, and that's not what God's plan is about. No real commitment, godly or otherwise, maybe to self and what I can get from this marriage. My brothers, I am not saying I have it altogether, yet I believe staying in God's word and seeking help from one another when we see trouble is always better than just acting as if we don't see others. Another thing, I am a work in progress, and I need help, so I pray that we, as men of God, help each other with prayer and hands-on from time to time. (Go and see about a brother).
